Youth program: Free Substance Use/Addiction specific counselling onsite at Rideauwood. Individual and group programs. Contact reception (number above) to schedule an intake appointment. They will book an appointment for a phone intake to be put on the Waitlist.
School Based Program: Free Individual counselling onsite at all Ottawa area English High Schools (and select intermediate schools). Contact Schools guidance counsellor to request services.
Family Spiral: 2 information evenings (2 hours each) for family members impacted by a loved one’s substance use. $50 per evening (subsidies available if needed). Must pre-registered by calling Rideauwood reception.
Parent Program: 5 week group information/support with intensive 3 day program. Additional individual sessions for individuals in the program and aftercare group available. Call Reception to book a phone intake appointment.

Counselling: Serenity Renewal for Families offers counselling for individuals, children, youth, couples and families. All of our counsellors deal with the impact of addictions, trauma and grief on families and on the individual addict. Contact reception to schedule an appointment. $100 per session with sliding scale available.
Adult Educational Workshops: Our educational workshops are designed to promote emotional and spiritual well-being in a safe environment. Every workshop is facilitated by a professional counsellor. There is no requirement to see a counsellor before taking a workshop. However, a counsellor may recommend a series of workshops based on an assessment of your individual personal situation. Children, Youth, and Families: Our team works with children, youth and parents to help facilitate growth and communication – individually and within the family unit. The programming is designed to help families cope with issues arising from substance abuse, addiction, addictive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Offering a safe and comfortable space, the Youth, Parent and Families support team strives to provide support to all members of the family unit.
Ongoing Support Groups: The Parents Forever Group is an on-going, professionally facilitated, mutual-support group for parents and family members of addicted children (18 years and up). Along with group sharing, parents can learn tools to improve the quality of their own lives. Participants are not required to register, and sessions are held on Tuesday mornings from 10-11:30 a.m.

Caregivers Matter support group sessions are free, open to anyone over the age of 18, and take place on the first Monday of each month from 7 to 8:30 pm, unless otherwise indicated. Sessions are led by our Program Manager and trained volunteers.
